Recently, I tried to order all available Artistik compilations and full length CDs. This is not the first time I have tried ordering freestyle to get nowhere. I have come to realize that Freestyle sales lag because people like me get the cold shoulder. I was willing to pay for at least 12 CDs that were listed that were on the Artistik roster but I never got a response, even when I responded back with "I assume nothing is available. Thanks anyway."

I figure now that I might as well download the songs or get them from friends. I am all for supporting Freestyle but instances like this has been happening to me a few too many times in the past two years. I love Freestyle and always will but I am close to giving up trying to buy it. Even the costs of some CDs are out of this world. I can understand why people download. I just needed to vent. I am curious if other people have had bad luck like me also when trying to get Freestyle music. I have been collecting it since 1986. What a shame that the availability is not here now, especially with the internet, like it was back then.

i k now exactly wut its like cuz up here in toronto u can easily get commercial compilations with the same songs over and over and u can get joee, elissa, stevie b and lil suzy cds but that about it, its even hard to get canadian artist 😕

Where did you try to order the Artistik CDs from? Direct from Willie or from an on-line retailer?
 
its funny cuz most of my freestyle music is bought from second hand cd/record shops...

I exchanged emails with Willie. He responded. After the third attempt, I just gave up. I had hoped to work out something with him.

$10.99 for a CD single!?!?!? Yeeoocchh!!!!!

Well, I'm here in Tampa, FL & the only stuff I can find are the regular plain a$$ compilations with all the same 'ol 80s songs over & over again! Finding NEW Freestyle down here is a b*tch and I do end up ordering them from various online sources!

Like U, RoGeReM, I ordered some CDs from Willie/Artistik as well. Took a while to get responses 'n' whatnot, but eventually he did. Just hang in there. Artistik compilations are fantastic & Willie's prices are KRAZY affordable!
 
the cd is ok but some of the songs did not sound like freestyle i got it anyway to give props to Johnny O for keepin freestyle alive the cd single is on back order so i wont get that for a while.
 
do what i do.........

here in miami i usally find the freestyle cd's at stores when i order them or the other day i went on half.com and got a whole bunch of them still in package really cheap like george lamond cd i got for .75 cents or india's cd i got for 2.50 i even gotnoel's cd for .85cents still brand new THAT'S COOL..........vapro
 
This is the main reason i'm glad we will have our product inthe chain stores . We don't want people going crazy looking for our music and be fustrated , not finding it.
We will be posting all the stores where our single and album will be avalible.
I have actully seen the Johnny O Diana single in FYE Willowbrook Mall Wayne NJ. 4 COPIES

I did let you know. what else did you need to know? i gave you my price. which is far less than retail???????????????? what else can I do? I am not in business anymore. I go online sometimes to check email. Artistik is no longer. As far as prices go this is the lowest i can go. I think I am the cheapest when it comes to prices. Sorry if i couldnt give them to you free man. just cant do that. I did answer your emails. your last one made no sense., what did you want on the last email?
