Hey the other day at Copa Records I bought a few CDs from Fever Records. One of them called Freestyle Party by Thump Records/Universal music i bought basically caused it had the slamming New Cover Girls remake of Hooked On YOu (u can hear this song on the Freestyle File tonite.) Well any this cd has the 14 classic freestyle songs by all the familiar artists yet with a basic twist which isnt even mentioned on the cover. They were all reproduced and/or re sang by the original artists. Lydia Lee Loves "Don't Take your love away" sounds so refreshing and clear. Nyasia's "NOw and Forever" has new vocals that sound different and more modern from our believed classic. In each song the beat sounds more street wise and more "freestyle" sounded like they way freestyle was back in the day. Other singers on this cd include Noel, Chrissy Ieece, Johny O, Cynthia, Lisette Melendez, Sandee, George Lamond, Nayobe, Fascination and a megamix. This is the way freestyle sound sound in the New Millenium. The Classic Beats with the street hard ass sound. :cynthia :johnnyo

I gotta get this album.

It's a shame it was never marketed and promoted properly.....cus IF I didn't hear about it from you- I would've never known.

exactly i saw it in stores many a times and passed it by just thinking it was another boring complilation of hits but at the Copa show i saw it had the covergirls remake of Hooked on you so thats why i bought it and then i flipped out when i heard all the songs.
