I KNOW THERE ARE A LOT OF CAR GUYS IN HERE LIKE MYSELF!!
I WANT TO KNOW WHO'S GOING TO GO WATCH THE FAST & THE FURIOUS???? CRAZY STREET RACING MOVIE WITH DONE UP IMPORTS AND DOMESTICS, IT LOOKS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!!
IT WAS BASED ON THE ILLEGAL STREET RACING THAT HAPPENS IN TORONTO!!! I AM DEFFINETLY GOING TO BE THERE ON JUNE 22, 2001 TO SEE IT !!!!
 
I'm gonna be there opening night hopefully w/my car buddies from school, probably at Colossus in the RH/Woodbridge area, maybe some of the CF crew can hook up too. Now one thing, the movie I'm pretty sure is based on the underground racing in Cali, and not T.O. Where did you hear it was based on T.O's underground racing?
 
Really? That's what Star TV said, interesting, I should read up on it, but I know I heard it was based on Cali racing. Who knows. I already know Thereo can't make it that night since he has some party to goto... 🙁 Maybe we can get others out with us?
 
C'mon guys this movie is actually based on the races at the Tim Hortons at Woodbine and 16th Avenue in Markham! hahahahaha

Naw actually I heard somewhere that it was based on both racing scenes --Cali for it's gang influence and Toronto, (remember that 2 hour documentary on TLC on Toronto street racing) for the sudden popularity of import racing!!!

But from what I saw on the trailer looks pretty good!!! Se you on the streets boys!!!

IT LOOKS SICK!!! can't see it opening night but i'll see it on the saturday! it has action, CARS, girls, CARS, Racing, CARS what else could you ask for??? Isn't the movie a remake of an earlier movie called the fast and the furious, i thought it was maybe i'm wrong

Girls are nice, but I'd take a STi WRX over any girl. 😀 Reason, girls nag, whine and do a lot more to bug ya than a car will. I'm going to see the movie just for the cars/action, gotta love the Supra and the eclipse, hell I didn't know till I saw another trailer that, but the movie's got a slick RX7 too. Damn can't wait to see that movie! So who's in boys? Seriously, any of ya willing on meeting up opening night at Colosseum? I can get back to you when the plan has been set, I'm still waiting to hear from my car nut buddies.
 
Ya man, I'm a car nut above a girl nut. Most girls are two faced and full o' crap. Hell you wanna "do it", you can find enough sluts out there for that, it's hard to find a girl good enough for a relationship, let alone marriage. Girls, most of the time are better as friends. Cool Portu, I'll let ya know when I've figured out the exact plans, I hope this works out.

No prob Lil Tony, I'll post a new thread when I've figured out the plans, damn I really want this to work out, the more car nuts the better. Only tough thing is going to be tickets, that movie is gonna get sold out like mad, fast, all car enthusiasts, including the ricers are gonna watch that movie, enough car clubs are meeting up for that movie. You bringing your stang Tony?
 
he sounds like the kind of guy that has some nice car but has only done work on the engine so at the line no one knows what it can do! That's what i would do, why change the body when it's under the hood that really counts!
 
Ahh, Thereo, you're a bright man! That's exactly how I see it. The same thing w/my buddy who has a 300zx TT. Hasn't touched the exterior at all, except for new exhaust, not just tips, but the whole exhaust system, but that's also performance. All his work has been engine mods so far. Performance first, looks second. That's exactly how I would do it.
