Tonight on Channel 7 there is a 2 hr special on at 8:00 called "The Disco Ball" featuring performances by disco legends such as Gloria Gaynor, The Village People, Irene Cara, Thelma Houston, KC and the Sunshine Band, Cheryl Lynn, The Pointer Sisters, etc, as well as other artists singing disco classics such as Taylor Dayne and Mya. There will also be a tribute to The Bee Gees!

I hope some of you got to see the show last night because it was GREAT!!! I have to say that my fave performer was Usher who did an unbelievable rendition of Aint No Stoppin Us Now. He is an amazing dancer!!! Taylor Dayne was also great...she sang "I Love The Nightlife" and even Nikki French was there singing "Total Eclipse of the Heart" (although it would have been really nice if Bonnie Tyler was there to sing it!). And all the disco legends were there...let me just say that they still look and sound amazing....Irene Cara, The Pointer Sisters, Gloria Gaynor, Cheryl Lynn, all of them. It was such a good show!! And I agree with Mike..disco does live!!

I LISTEN TO IT OFTEN,
BUT SEEING A SHOW WAS
EVEN BETTER!! THEY
SHOULD LIKE, TOUR OR
SOMETHING..YA KNOW?
IT WAS AWESOME!

~I Love the nightlife....I Love to Boogie!!!~
THAT WAS DEFINATELY MY FAVE PART!!🙂

It really was excellent! I basicslly blew off "Friends" to watch it!! And I really envied the people in the audience..they looked like they were having the best time! I swear....there is nothing better than the classics...disco, freestyle, and 80's music!!!

Most definately Randi!!
The crowd seem to be
having the time of their
lives!!!! Lucky ppl!!!🙁

Can u imagine if they did a freestyle show on TV like that? That would be a dream come true!

How sweet that would be a Freestyle Show
on TV like that, would be too good to be true!
But we shall keep dreaming!!!! Crossing Fingers!
Praying and all of the above!! lol! 🙂
Disco music was the freestyle of the 70's
so that had to be the biggest influence on
alot of the freestyle writers/producers, etc.
