As anybody knows, my dateless, no romance streak is now 9 years. Man that stinks. As I was telling people, i'm not looking for a long term relationship right now. I am just looking for a date. Someone I can enjoy the beautiful city I live in Called; Washington, DC!! Someone I can enjoy the nightlife with, go to dinner. Sadly, for 9 years, I can't even get a date!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been trying a little harder. I have been making a better effort to talk to women. I say the right things I think, but the talks are always cut short, I sometimes go blank. I ahve tried dating services, that's no good. I have been saying saying, by that awful V-Day of 2005 if I have not made any progress what so in my love life; it would make it 10 years of no dates and I was gonna put my lovelife on The shelf. Like I said, I don't know what else to do. I'm tired of being lonely in the #5 market in america. I know you have to wait for relationships. I Just WANT A DATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT'S ALL!!!!!!!!!! A DATE YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET MORE EASILY. Maybe something may build from there. BUT, I JUST WANT A DATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Mike do have girls as friends??? mabey if u find someone to be friends with first???
 
That's it. I have too many girls who are friends. The couple I thought I could make a move on, already was dating, engaged and don't seem to be interested.
 
Go on a blind date?? ask one of your friends to hook you up 🙂

Yeah Mikey ask your friends that are girls to hook you up with one of their girlies. They must know how much of a great guy you are so it shouldn't be a problem for them to hook it up

its been a while for me to i cant remember when the last time i was out on a date brb im checkin to see if i smell lol .

ok i check i dont have bo . so i dont know what the deal is but life will go on .
 
I just don't don't want to be age 30 and still without a date. This Friday, I made a good effert to find a dat. Like I say, Bookstores are the best. For some reason, everytime I get near a girl, I freeze. I can't find an opening to start talking to a girl. I was near this cute girl at the photo books, nobody else was around. I had my chance to talk her up, but I choked!!!. She was not wearing a ring(married, engagement). At times when I do talk to girls they end up already having a guy(or sometimes a girl) in their life.
 
Poor Thing Next Time You Get The Chance Jump On It You Never Know What Can Happen The Worse That Can Happen Is She Says No And If She Says No Then Move On...
 
I just have to do better. Since the weather is warmer now. The girls are out. I just have to jump on it. Sometimes , I can't think of things to say. I just don't want to sound like a dope.LOL
 
mike hun i am so sorry to hear of this dissapointment again. i think you will make a great guy for some lucky lady. dont give up, keep trying. one day you'll find her.

I almost had my chance again this morning. This girl was sitting across from me on the train. Nice girl, dressed in cute casual summer work attire. But, she was listening to her CD player. So I could not talk to her. But i'll keep trying, but it's getting frustrading to just find a date. The It's Just Lunch program bombed, The only want people over 30. I don't want to run up a phone bill calling dating services which may fail. Like I said, I hate being lonely in DC and if I can't find a date by V-Day of 2005, I'm putting my romance life on the shelf!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't keep doing anything that is not showing success.
 
mike maybe your reading to much into this date thing maybe you should stop looking and when you least expect it someone will pop up
 
mike it seems to me your r trying to approach unapproachable women. have your friends set you up. try church, social groups (singles clubs), bookstores, laundrymat, work and online dating services like aol, match.com and kiss.com.
 
i gave up lookin no female is worth going after if she dose not want u then i say why look let her lose out on a great guy like me and let them hook up with the bad guys because when u lie down with dogs u wake up with fleas .
 
I have a similar problem in that everyone i meet is not right for me. They want to rush the realtionship or pin me down immediately. Any guys in Fort Lauiderdale or Miami?
