Hi everybody.

I was thinking about three GREAT songs that have never been released (as far as I know) and I'm wondering if anyone has other songs just like them.

1. Karizma - ??? - In the summer of 91, WKHT (HOT 97) threw its annual freestyle concert on the boardwalk in Seaside Hts. NJ. One of the first acts was a pretty li'l morenita with big, light eyes called "Karizma". She was pretty, her dancers were make-you-weak-in-the-knees beautiful, and she sang several songs. One of them was "Fascination", the other was ???? (it was not "Consistence"). I don't know what the song was but it was AWESOME. I heard it once (over 10 yrs ago in Seaside Hts.) but I never forgot it.

2. Chrissy I-Eece - ???- In 1989 Chrissy I-Eece visited club "Panache" in Seaside (now called MERGE?) and she sang "Love Desire" and several other songs. One of the songs she sang I have NEVER ever heard since (and it was ALSO incredible). It was a great show, but that song will haunt me until I find out what it is.

3. "You Broke My Heart" (NOT the Susan Santiago version) but the ORIGINAL
NICOLE DANIELS version. In 1992 Nicole Daniels and Eddie Frente recorded "You Broke My Heart". I like the Susan S. version but the N.D. version was PHAT and had a girl (called Cherry Gabayan I think) doing AWESOME ad-libs.

I think those songs are lost forever and I think I'd sell a kidney to hear them again.

Any other freestyle gems we never heard out there?

oh i forgot one by my old friend called once again from david.. that song is tight but you cant get anymore it came out in 96 the beat was what cught me the most

Peter Fontaine just like the wind
Miguel Reyes those were the times
pain / pain
when will u come back to me / pure pleasure
daize missery
find yourself another puppet / class
if u want me / soave

That first song by Karizma was released on Metropolitan Records. I got her songs on cds. She was a great artist.

Hey Pete. How u doing?

The Karizma song I'm talking about never came out. As far as I know she only had 2 songs out on Metro. (Fascination, Consistence). Of course, I could be wrong.

The three songs that I was talking about NEVER came out (as far as I'm concerned).

Also... 2 songs by Amy Tori. One is called "Nowhere to Go" (I think) and "Don't Stop Us Now".

There are thousands of demos that make it to mix cds and tapes but are never formally released.

As an artist, I know that my group sang at least 2 songs "Señorita" and "Give Me Your Love" that we performed on MANY shows.

As much as I liked them, we had our heads up our youknowhats and we never tried to polish them and shop them.

'Cuz we were stoopid like that.

Enywey... Cojanlo con takeiteasy.

hey natural didnt you have a song on tazmania vol. 7 called "i will not cry" ?

when i had the cd which i wish i still had it it was the bomb i always jammed it i loved the vocal arrangement on it

Hiram was up bro long time don't speak, Hw are you? I love all the tracks by you guys, but people Hiram has a track that he did on his own which I have a copy and is off the hook, Don't the cd with me to say the name, but when I get home I will post it. Angelino and Joe those songs all came out on singles, just saying. Except for Willie Val on No matter What which defenitly deserve a single,
Rey A, pain-Pain,

hear say

I'm glad you liked it. Raiana Paige actually helped us arrange the vocals, so she deserves the credit.
What's the freestyle scene like in Texas?

Hey Alex,

I am well. Missing the radio station. I'm a teacher now in South Jersey, and I miss hearing KTU and all of the phat freestyle & dance music.

Thanks for the plug. When is freestyle gonna come down to South Jersey again?
The Music Factory's like 2 minutes from where I teach (I could walk there) and they still carry a lot of freestyle & dance.

well not that good here in dallas but in san antonio its hitting hard.. imean you have all the good dj's out there that make the mixes like Dj jaunito, dj slick, dj tony , dj power style and others.. but look out for me soon in the following year for my new single... peace

Joey Gold--Devil In My Heart is a song never heard? Dayum! 🙂 I have Metropolitan Freestyle Extravaganza 1 on cd (from back when you could go to the mall and buy freestyle cd's that werent the generic BEST OF FREESTYLE type cd's).. sooo many good songs on there.

Since nobody has figured it out, and Hiram did his best to re-explain himself to no avail...

THIS THREAD IS FOR THE BEST SONGS THAT HAVE NEVER BEEN RELEASED.

If he wanted you to list seldomly heard, but previously released songs, he would have requested that... 😉

BTW - Hiram "GIVE ME YOUR LOVE" by Natural, gets my nod.

BTW, San Antonio has a huge market for Freestlye but it doesn't get any radio support there either. But as Hear Say mentioned there are alot of DJ's droppin mixed CD's. Kool Cutt Kaos, Kozmik, DJ Juls, and DJ Charms are some others that he left out. These CD's are big sellers in S.A. Very fast beats and megamixed. Good stuff.

Well, to my knowledge, this song can be found on promotional pressing, but was never officially released.

Arlene-"Band Of Gold".
