I've compiled a list of some of the best radio stations that I know of from major cities around the country that you have a chance to hear atleast one freestyle song once in a while outside of a mix show. I figured this might come in handy if you travel alot.

WBBM "B96.3"
WDEK, WKIE, WKIF "Energy 92.5&7"
Houston
KTHT "Hot 97.1"(they still play Angelina)
Phoenix
KZZP "104.7 Kiss FM"(maybe)
* a radio station in Tuscon used to i'm not sure if they still do.
San Francisco
KYLD "Wild 94.9"
Seattle
KNHC "C89.5" (They been poppin' dance music in Seattle for about 30yrs now!!!)
Honolulu
KIKI I-94 *Probably Hawaii's longest running rhythmic station and outlet for freestyle in Hawaii. Freestyle was played alot from the 80-90's here.
KQMQ 93.1 The Q (hits from the 80's to 90's) They play old skool freestyle. From Stevie B. to Covergirls as well as other hits.

Mega103.5(Miami) They are jammin Oldies, but they play lots of freestyle and playing more new dance tracks since the Jammin oldies format is going bust!!

..(The Spanish station)

They play a lot of ol'skool goodies!!

And if you're in Toronto try Z103.5 - www.z1035.com where at lease two freestyle songs will be played once an hour plus Sunday nights "Freestyle Frenzy" with D.J. Tony Monaco - monaco@z1035.com . Good DJ, his only problem though is that he has an obsession with Stevie B & Lil Suzy. And don't be disappointed if you hear a dance song played as freestyle.😉
 
freestyle stations

There is a station in Dallas called Energy 89.3 KNON you can check them out on the web at www.knon.org. Don't freak when the horrible country music pops up...it is a community station and the metroplex doesn't have the pleasure of enjoying freestyle except Mon-Fri 12pm-4pm and Sat 12-7. Check them out..click on the "dance & latin" option on the far right side of the screen!!! Hope you like it...Dallas does!!

I'm not saying they play a lot or anything even close to that, but Q102 in Philadelphia will occasionally play Lil Suzy's "Take Me In Your Arms," Rockell's "In a Dream," Stevie B's "Spring Love," Cynthia and Johnny O's "Dreamgirl/Dreamboy," and Collage's "I'll Be Loving You." Again, that is in regular rotation, not during mix shows.

No one seems to really know about WMPH Super 91.7 in Wilmington, Delaware that plays ALMOST ALL DANCE MUSIC, more than almost all the stations listed.
