I was watching the VH1 Hip Hop Honors last night and The Beastie Boys were performing. Well I almost fell over when I saw them wearing Fever Records t-shirts!! It was the black shirt with the Fever logo that says The Fever...Catch It. Are they on the Fever label?

Yo, the Beastie Boys represent the underground New York Hip Hop/Punk sound. They've always stayed true to their game........and by sportin' Fever t-shirts, that shit tells me alot about WHO they really are and their place in music history.

SOME NEW SCHOOL FREESTYLE GROUPS SHOULD WEAR LA MIRAGE, 1018, DEVIL'S NEST,LA'MOUR EAST. PASSIONS, ETC ,ETC T-SHIRTS TO SHOW THAT THEY KNOW THERE FREESTYLE HISTORY. JUST A THOUGHT!!!

Kenny of Fever asked me to post this FEVER RECORDS was once a part of DEF JAM RECORDS, in to which the beasties were familiar with. THE FEVER club was one of the first clubs that they were able to perform in on that label. Sal ABBATIELLO was featured in the movie "KRUSH GROOVE" and starred as himself because of his expience and reputation (as well as allowing his club to be filmed in the movie) in the music world.

One of the beastie boys called him and asked for some shirts (just like the one worn in the 1992 video "so wacha want") to pay honarage to one of the biggest names in the industry.
