With the threat level raised to "Orange" or "High", what do you predict the next target to be?

The terrorist's used our own air planes and citizens to knock down the Twin Towers. Do you think they will try and succeed knocking down the Empire State Building? Statue of Liberty? Bridges and Tunnels? Or, possibly strike on New Years Eve and send the 'Ball" dropping and rolling through Times Square and squashing everything in its past? :eek

Whatever the case scenerio, it's going to be as bad as the WTC attacks, or possibly even worse. But, life must go on. :cparty

I don't think they're going to do anything during the holidays. If they strike again, they will catch everyone off guard again like they did on the day of 9/11 when everyone was on their way to work and school.

I think these people will wait and plan things very carefully before going on and succeeding another mission like that of 9/11. It wont happen when we expect it.

I just hope it doesn't happen on Christmas Day when I'm on the train traveling through New York to get to Delaware. Come to think of it, I'll be hungover from the night before, so.......whateva happens happens. Maybe I'll bring a bottle of Grey Goose for the trip. :nahnah

sources say that if an attack were to occur it wont be in nyc thats fo sho cuz of all the high security we got going on here they probably do it in some state where not too many noise is being made and thats when they gonna take advantage

I'm sorry, but I personally think the "levels"/"colors" thing is a bunch of complete crap. And plus if an attack were to happen, it's not going to happen now when everyone is prepared, or watching out. If something is going to happen, it's going to be when everyone is lax. As for where, I know NY is high profile, but I doubt that they would go for NY again. Too expected.

Here's a story for ya.

I have a friend (who shall remain nameless) who works for a company (which shall remain nameless) that makes trophies, awards, and promotional items for school and government agencies.

Not long after 9/11, she and her boss were cleaning out a back room, and they found a mug that had been part of an order.

The order was placed on Sept 2000, one year before 9/11 occured.

The mug had the statue of liberty and the twin towers on it, and a slogan that read:

"FBI Anti-Terrorism Task Force....Taking Care Of Business!"

Apparently not......
