After weeks and months of being glued to the tv. The winner of season 3 American Idol has been announced. After the grueling and hilarious auditions, after weeks of competitions and some of our favorities getting voted off, and yes, even after William Hung stole the spotlight for a moment. The winner is Fantasia Burino (now forgive me if I miss spelled the name).

Girl! I'm fast! LOL I love them both too! Dianna held up like a pro for being only 16. They both kicked some major ass. I love both versions to I Believe>
 
LMAO Tank...yeah Diana did hold up like a pro for being only 16. I agree, I love both versions of I Believe too...but i must say even tho I know alot of people didn't like Fantasia, whenever I watched the show I always thought she did really good so I'm glad she won.

Fantasia is a performer! Dianna is more of an artists if that makes any kind of since.
 
well, i wanted diana to win so i'm a little disappointed. but, as with last season, clay aiken proved you don't have to be "the american idol" to succeed so i'm sure diana will be just fine. i agree tank, diana held up very well for being 16. she is a very classy, dignified young girl who is gonna go far....😉

I agree Diana will be very succussful.
 
Well, I think it was inevitable for Fantasia to win. She is very good...however, she is a little too gospel-like for me. I liked Diana a lot...she is more on Kelly Clarkson's order. But you guys are right...you dont have to be the winner to go far. Clay turned out to be more of a winner than Ruben. As for this season, I still think it should have been Latoya London up there at the end.

Finally, The voters used common since. Hey Diana is a good performer. But, she just did not have enough to beat Fantasha. Fantashia just had the thunder and the confidence and the power. Diana presented herself well. But the field belonged to Burrino.LOL

i just read that there will be 21 reality tv shows on for the 2004-2005 season!! ughhhh. i've had enough already!
 
But American Idol is the MOST real of all the reality shows. These people actually go on to have careers. And its fun to see their journeys, and to pick out your faves and hope they go far. I am sorry Idol is over...I wish it started before next January!!
