The label on a bottle of drain cleaner warns: "If you do not understand, or cannot read, all directions, cautions and warnings, do not use this product."
A smoke detector warns: "Do not use the Silence Feature in emergency situations. It will not extinguish a fire."
A massage chair warns: "DO NOT use massage chair without clothing... and, Never force any body part into the backrest area while the rollers are moving."
A cardboard car sunshield that keeps sun off the dashboard warns, "Do not drive with sunshield in place"

The sad part is, the reason those warning labels are on there, is ususally some moron tried to do that thing, and got hurt, and sued the manufacturer!

This one actually happened! Bad part was the parents were total rednecks. Video taped the whole plot to sue Baby Trend so they could buy a new trailer.

Somehow the tape made it out.

Yep, the lawsits are definately out of control in this country and the sad thing is that when people finally have a reasonable claim, they often don't get what is due... But these warnings still crack me up. Don't forget about....

On most household appliances- For Household Use Only
On candles- Do not light near curtains or other flammable objects
My boyfriend recently bought one of those remote car starters and in the installation instrucions it advises against smoking or lighting matches while installing near engine, and to not stick hands near moving parts, and do not install in closed garage with the car running.
