How many of you went ova the weekend?

I had a blast at these 2 flicks!
Especially watching the crowd scream, jump, & squirm in their seats! - lol.

I enjoyed both & think they were pretty good.

Who went? & What did u think?
🙂

i went yesterday to check both of them out i give them both two thumbs up they were both good i kept jumping out my seat lol :lol

NOOOO don't say that EZE! I'm gonna go check it out this weekend coming up. I shall be posting my ups or downs then 😉

rookie and i saw taking lives on fri. it was a good movie. the ending was great.

In regards to the ending of "Dawn Of The Dead", I heard that if you left as the credits were rolling, then you "missed" the ending. That there were other scenes/shots that took place as the credits played.

I Hope They Make Day Of The Dead Next

the baby scene freaked me out big time :hohsit

So do I Melly22, but I wish someone else would direct. This Dawn of the dead was an decent remake of the original, however, I feel there was not enough gore. Where were the scenes of Zombies munching on endtrails, brains, and other body parts? Where were the scenes of Zombies ripping chunks of flesh from their victims as they screamed in agony? I can remember coming out of the threatre traumatized and not being able to sleep well for a week after watching a Zombie flick. This one wasn't that good.:dgrin

"Dawn of the Dead" was okay. It had it's parts. But you know when that girl went chasing after that damn dog I was like "she deserves to die, EAT HER!!!"
Lol, but I thought the ending was the best part of that whole movie. I hate it when everything works out in the end so I liked the way it ended.

The original was even funnier and it was better to me. Just like the "Texas Chainsaw Massacre". I haven't seen a horror remake that I thought was better than the original yet.

I have to agree with you that the original was better than this one. There was one horror remake that comes to mind that, in my opinion, was better that the original and that is the "Night of the Living Dead" remake (as in the original, directed by George Romero). The original was a low budget black and white with dirt cheap special effects. Romero was finally able to give it the treatment it deserved with the 1990 remake.
