Surgery Gone Wrong!!!!!!

I was watching the Discovery Health channel, and they ran a show about people who went to have surgery.

Well, they were wheeled into the operating room, and are given anestetic.

However, not ENOUGH anestetic. They were unable to move or communicate with doctors or nurses, but were able to feel everything that happened to them!!!!! 😱

One woman was having an eye removed. She was paralyzed, but awake. Because it was here eye, she not only felt it, she SAW them coming for her eye! She said after they pulled it out, everything went black. That's when she PASSED OUT FROM SHOCK!

I can't imagine going through this.

that happened to my friend! he went into surgery to have his gallbladder removed and he woke up in the middle of surgery! he felt everything! his lungs also collapsed from the anesthesia...but he's ok now thank god!

I hear you on that. I couldn't wear contacts if I had to, because I wouldn't be able to put them in my eyes.

I'd just wear glasses.

*scratches cornea* :freek LOL contacts rock, i wore glasses for 9 years.. i'm happier cramming a piece of plastic into my eyes every morning just so i dont hafta wear my glasses in public
