just a suggestion or 2 for the next freestyle throwdown- how about 2 categories, one for west coast and one for east coast sounds?
i say this because this board is pretty much dominated by New Yorkers, nothing wrong with that, who love their old school sound. i think the song that absolutely blew away everyone else was the Kenny freestyle feat. Genevieve song. this is one of the future sounds of freestyle. it was so great. also the Cynthia Sejo song, which sounded more new school, had fewer votes than it should have. i like the mario and nick colon songs too, don't get me wrong, those may have been great many years ago and been successful. but i think its unfair for those who have the guts to try to put out new school freestyle tracks in a contest, so maybe next time a west coast and east coast category? or maybe more appropriately put- a new school and old school category, since maybe a west coast artist would want to put out an old school sound or an east coast artist might want to put out a new school sound.
lastly, we could have done without the 1 or 2 house tracks, but its all good, just more music to listen to.
