Maybe I missed something but... Whats the Story behind George Lamond joining TKA??? Lot of poeple ask the same thing. Goerge was VERY succesful on his own..and I dont understand why he became a "part" of a trio Now.. I saw them at Tribeca a few months ago..and it was just weird seeing him sing TKA's songs..and none of his own... No se,..anyone have more info?

Yes, George Lamond has been a member of TKA
since @late august'02..HE IS however, COMBINING BOTH
his Freestyle & Salsa career with the TKA venture...
...He has been and will always continue to perform SOLO as well..

This has been addressed several times..try a Search

The TKG thing..became something da fans assumed would be
the Name of the Group..bcuz the initials pertained to the
members at one point.. & bcuz those around the guyz, call
them kay..gee...tee...all the time. so it gets heard..
& people think it's the Name, & its NOT...but TKA became the
groups Trademark, regardless of who was in the group..
INDIA was in the group..(where's the "I" for India?)That's
what we try to explain..He Joined TKA, therefore,
It was HIS Choice that TKA..Remain The Name Of The
Group! Regardless of George being in the group, it was he,
George who edged toward keeping the name, TKA INTACT!

TKA..is Tony~o, K7, & George Lamond..Period.
Name of the group, Is TKA, Has Been TKA.. And Shall
Remain "TKA"...

2 be real.........if Heidee was upset, I wouldn't blame her, at times she answers the sameeeeeee question 20 or 30 times, meanwhile, there's a Fan Site or a link to TKA's history on this site also. Hilda represents the guys in here by saying things that she doesnt need to say, if anyone REALLY wants to know of the guys history just click on the link thats on her profile, not scolding on anyone, but damn sometimes people cant even see the logic of doing their own little research....Anyone doesnt like what I just typed, I can care less, now I seen the drastic change that's been going on, but nevermind I typed in this thread for Heidee's side, not to discuss a personal perspective.

I understand what you mean, but some people don't come on this site as regularly as myself or yourself. This is why, I think, that sometimes you need to repeat things.😉
 
Ur right.......but having to see the sameeee thread asked in 20 different ways about TKA gets too repetive and tiring, I understand how some people are interested in the update of the guys, even I am; but I just learned that it's best to hear the sources and updates from the guys themselves..........

I get sooooooo pist to see a TKA thread(mind you when I see one I hope that it's the guys themselves, mentioning something new), but instead it's someone asking a question that was answered the OTHER DAY(well, figuretivly speaking that is)

I still can't get over the fact that they're still calling themselves TKA when there is no freaking A there!!! Ok, so Angel decided to call it quits....so then at least, bring back Aby for crying out loud!!! I'm sure they'll sell way more records than what they're really trying to do by keeping the name TKA with no A in there. But hey, aint no love lost.

Everybody knows TKA as TKA. So, I don't see why they should change their name only because some members (Aby or Angel) are not in the group anymore or because some fans want it.
On the contrary, if Tony and Kayel have let the "A", in a certain way, they are respecting the two "A". I really don't care about what happened between the members of the group in the past, I only have an opinion on their music. I only judge the music, not the artist's choice.

Business or not business, honestly, I do not care! If I can't say that: "It's not my business" concerning what happened (in the past or more recently) inside the group!!! Sorry but I prefer to talk about the music only.
