I was wondering if anyone could ask Stevie B. Like in that interview that is coming out soon on here how he feels about the war in Iraq. I am not judging anyone's religion, its not my place, but I see that he in the last few albums supports the Muslim faith. Wondering how he feels as an American Muslim. I know all us Christian's cannot agree on it as many don't. So I just wanted to see how he feels.

But, Stevie might shy away from that question because he might feel that by giving his opinion on such a political issue, it might tarnish his career or strike a bad chord with some of his fans.

I really don't understand why celebrities SHOULD shy away from such questions. Just give your opinion. 50% of the people will agree with you, the other 50% won't.

Who cares if you piss someone off?

^^^ NO! Not even close. I always thought he was South Asian (India) but others say he may be Arab or Persian.

I'm sure if you asked him, he'd probably say he is a "citizen of the world" or something lame like that.

what ever he is or what ever is his religion it is a good question but because some peeps might get all bent out of shape with his answer he may not answer it or he may. realisticly speaking if you speak to a true muslim their idea of religion has nothing to do with terrorism.
 
I know in a lot of his cds the first person he thanks is Allah (the Muslim refference to god) his children have very Muslim/Arabic names...anyways believe it or not from all the major religions in the world Muslim is the one that really enforces living a peaceful life with all...an irony I know but there are always the bad apples in everything and the terroists are the bad apples to the Muslims...but back to Stevie B I always thought he was south Asian but still don't know exactly where he is from cuz it don't matter

Yeah, but the dixie chicks then went on to sell over 6 Million copies of their album!!!As for Stevie B,why is anyone even interested in HIS political views?????
 
Hello all stevie b here. Im not sure if your question is sincere or to some create some contrversy . But i think for the learned that visits this page has some knowlege of world religion and philosophy. sometimes you can tell something about a person from what they do and not just what they say or give an opinion on. my opinion on your question is very broad and diverse.Yes as an American muslim I do have an opinion.But if what you really want to know is, as an American muslim do i support terrorism ? the answer is no. i dont support so-called muslims who do it neither do i support so-called Christians/ jews /American terrorism or any other forms of terrorism commited by anyone or any government.terrorism can come in many forms. As i said you can tell something about a person or a people by what they do more than what they may say. if you really new about the principles of religous faith, they all want peace."Peacemaker" thats what the word muslim truly and literally means in arabic. . Thats what a true Christian ,or anyone that excepts to believe and live by high morals is or should want to be. Now do all people do peaceful things, even if they profess a religion. NO! and just because you say you maybe Christian or muslim dont make it so.You see the religion is fine , its the people who ruin themselves.The law exists , but when people break the law is the law bad ? or the person that broke it ? i hope you get my point. if you want my opinion of people who are doing bad things. well we dont have to point at so-called muslims or christians or what ever. I cant and neither can you controll what other people do. but if you want me to agree with people who are doing bad things no matter what religion they are? Then i think my answer is self explainatory. . remember people can interpit things to fit there own objectives. just as the first europeans who colonized America had the Bible and called themselves GOOD Christians, but wiped out the native Indians !!, Enslaved , Terrorized and Dehumanized the African people for over 400 years!!!.now thats what I call Terror!!!!! Now thats how they interpited the Bible and Christianity.That would have been AN AMERICAN TERORRIST. AS an American should i be labeled because of the bad and misinterpited actions of others..Now is that True Christianity? NO Ofcourse Not.Do all good Christains believe that way ? Ofcouse Not .I hope you get my point. so as a true muslim and a person who is responsible for my own life not what others may say they believe .when it comes down to it we are all responsible for our own self. no matter what your religion is. I have demonstrated through my works in music and action in my life , granted none of us are perfect, but if you really have been paying attention to what i have been commited to in my music then your question should have been answered before it was even asked . sometimes times you can tell something about the artist... "JUST BY STUDYING HIS ART" " ..

If that really is you Stevie. Thank you for answering. I would love to talk to you personally on this issue further. I did not mean to cause contoversy with you. As I expected, you are very open about your faith in your cd liners and in some of your lyrics. I have to say that I have Muslim friends and non Chrisian friends. Just because I have a certain belief I will not disasociate with someone of different faiths. I really would love to know your thoughts on bettering Iraq for the people there. Not really about terrorism. AS WE ALL DISLIKE AND DISAPPROVE OF TERRORISM, no matter what our faith is. Stevie please send me a way to contact you,I would love to talk further with you on this. good luck on the new cd. cannot wait to hear it.

Does Stevie B's Muslim Background make him more likely to partake in acts of terrorism???? Is this great Freestyle Legend capable of engaging in an atrocity like the 9/11 bombings??? Could you imagine Stevie B showing up to an event strapped with explosives, to only release the trigger button as crowds cheered him onto the stage?? Do you think I sound asinine writing this??? Well, quite frankly, you all should be ashamed of yourselves as Freestyle Fans for even suggesting that Stevie B was capable of hurting others, especially his fans. Stevie B, you're entitled to your views, and your portrayal of this country's fallacies is quite on the mark. OK RUMMY G.......see it is people like you that DO NOT READ what has been posted and jump to conclusions. I never accused Stevie B. or anyone of anything. All i asked, if you will read back, is how he felt about the WAR in Iraq........not if he was terrorist, or supports terrorist. I in no way think that the majority of people in Iraq are terrorist.....in fact its a small few....I only wanted to know how he felt about the war there. READ before speaking! Be informed not ignorant!
