Stevie B in Philly

This past sunday night i got to see stevie perform live at a club in philadelphia. This was my first freestyle performance. i think that he put on a very good show. Some may say that freestyle is dead in philly, BUT when richie rich(philly radio mixer) did a short freestyle set. The club went crazy. just about everybody in the club started singing with the songs. They also did the same when stevie came on.

Then the hosting radio station(Puke 102) personalities started asking if we wanted to see cynthia, johnny o, and others in concert. The crowd went crazy once again. But that was it, no more was said about it.

Was anybody else at the lagoon that night?

i was not there but i was there for that same show last year with lumidee & Roc project i dont do clubs anymore for alot of reasons one not much freestyle is played there .

I know what ya mean. I very rarely go to clubs anymore either, unless i'm djing at one. lol.. when i used to do club work, i would play freestyle untill alot of people started complaining(hip hop heads).. the ladies liked it though.

The Lagoon is NOT in Philadelphia.

It's over the bridge in Jersey, not too far outside of Philly - but not Philly, none-the-less. 😉

no, the Lagoon is NOT in New Jersey.....it is in Essington, PA, right past the Philadelphia international airport. Exit 9A off I-95 to be exact. i used to go there. 😉

Yeah! Stevie B puts on a good show, I opened up for him a while back at a club in CT. It was the best expereance in the world. And he is real to his fans.

yea its in pa i almost got lost last year going there . i wont go anymore i am a lil to old for clubs nobody will want a 30 something male hitting on a 20 something girl .

I seen him perform a few months ago here in Philly along w/Ashley and NUI
I don't think its THAT dead here in Philly, I still hear cars playing it!!!
Alot of people don't know its still around!
