Stacy Kiebler recently turned down an offer to appear
in Playboy Magazine. Wrestling 365 first broke the news
about negotiations between Kiebler and the adult mag
a few months ago. At that time rival newsletters refuted
and rubbished our report, but now the egg is firmly on
their faces. Keibler told the Miami Herald: "I turned it
down because that's not the way I want my career to go.
It's just not something I want to do at this time in my life.
Nothing against the girls who have done it because I think
they look beautiful, and I think it's an incredibly sexy thing.
It's just not something I want to do right now.''

Shannon Ward (Lucy) has been told that her
WWE developmental deal won't be renewed when it
expires next month. Ward has been training for the past
six months in Ohio Valley Wrestling under Danny Davis
and Jim Cornette. She is probably best known for her
late-90's WCW stint as Daffney.

As reported over the weekend, Jerry "Wall" Tuite died
on Saturday at the age of 36 whilst on tour with All Japan.
The cause of death was said to be an acute heart attack.
The family has requested that his body be cremated then
returned to the United States for funeral services in his
home state of New Jersey. Wrestling 365 understands
that no autopsy will be conducted -- the true cause of death
will never be established.

Also reported over the weekend, Nathan Jones walked
out on the WWE whilst on tour with SmackDown overseas.
He did not wrestle the show in Perth, Australia which he
was heavily promoted for. According to numerous sources,
Jones wasn't committed enough to be a professional
wrestler and didn't like the travel associated with it. Some
in the WWE locker room say they saw it coming, but many
were suprised by the way he left. Management are still trying
to talk him out of quitting, but as it stands right now Jones
appears to be done with the WWE.

Mick Foley's return to RAW isn't expected to run beyond
the Royal Rumble. His current stint as co-GM is a short-term
move to help justify the reinstatement of Steve Austin. The
WWE creative team have now developed several scenarios
for Austin's return which will most likely occur at the January
pay-per-view special. Austin is currently home in Texas
enjoying the hunting season.

CBS crime drama. Link: http://tinyurl.com/y5e7

Conflicting reports as to whether Triple H will be at RAW
tonight in Anaheim, CA. From what we've been told Hunter
will be on hand barring any last minute problems. He has
spent this past weekend in Vancouver working on the movie
"Blade: Trinity".

Believe it or not but "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan is auctioning
off the WCW TV Title on eBay. The current bid stands at
$1,105. Link: http://tinyurl.com/y7n5

The WWE reached out to the Honky Tonk Man a few
week's ago. They wanted to bring him in to work a match
against Randy Orton, however Honky declined the invitation
as he didn't want to lay down for the "legend killer."

Speaking of real legends... rumor has it that Terry Funk
has been in contact with WWE officials lately. Funk, 59, still
wrestles on the independents and would relish the chance of
another pay day.

On Tuesday in Los Angeles, Vince and Linda McMahon,
along with Torrie Wilson, Bradshaw, John Cena and others,
will host a press conference announcing plans to join forces
with the USO and its Operation Care Package to deliver
packages to troops in Kuwait and Iraq.

Idiot of the Week: Rick Bassman, promoter of the
California-based UPW promotion. He wrote in his latest
web column: "Despite what many of what I like to call
"Internet knuckleheads", i.e. smarks, like to say, I'm happy
to report that each [at one time UPW talent] is thriving in the
challenging WWE environment. Let me go out on a limb here
and make a prediction: Nathan Jones will be in the Top 10
in the business within the next 2 years." Yeah good one Rick,
what a great mind for the business you have there! Here's a
tip -- leave us "knuckleheads" to what we do and we'll leave
you to ripping off impressionable rookies.
