Its been a tradition since 1999! Club House Dance Music at the Puerto Rican Festival of Springfield MA.
When I first took over this portion of the Festival there was nothing but Domino Tournaments, Folkloric Dancing and some other stuff that never compelled anyone to attend on this nite
.
Basically! It was a dead nite.
Since then, year after year we have increased the attendance for Friday nites. 10,000 in attendance 2 years ago.
This year they have extended the festival by one day.
It will be held on Thursday August 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th.
We have been informed that alot of the staff has been released from their positions at the Puerto Rican Cultural Center and have not made a decision on inviting us this year.
Though we are ok with not doing it this year and Louie "The Legend" has already bowed out of the Festival, If it does takes place, Jesus and I are more than willing to take care of the entire show.
If you would like for us to be part of the festival make sure you call the PRCC to let them know you want Club House at the Festival...Its tradition!
