You guys want to support something the way you support your music...please read below:

Things are pretty sad in the world right now, I just made a post on the Z site about the Canadian Red Cross, and was reminded that there are over 40, 000 people dead due to the earthquake and tidal wave.

The Red Cross is Urgently asking for people to make donations, even if they are small ones, every bit helps.
My cheque is already on it's way. I thought I would make a post and send emails out to my mailing list.

If you can donate, here's what you can do. You can go in person to the nearest Red Cross Office, go to

or

Mail a Chq Payable to : Canadian Red Cross (Earmarked "South East Asia Earthquake & Tidal Wave Relief Fund") To Their Head Office

i do agree this is a tragic event, elissa. yup it would be very very helpful if we all donated to this urgent cause, lots more people might die with that spread of disease from the floodwaters in that area. my prayers go out to families who lost loved ones in the tsunami. (and to think im likely visiting SE-asia this summer, hope they can quickly recover)

it's so sad...the numbers are going up as we speak...and it's approaching 100,000 people. Even if everyone gave $5.00, $10.00, it adds up...I heard yesterday within' a day's time span, Canadians had already donated 3 Million of from their own pockets...

I donated thru Amazon.com since I am a member it was simple to donate just a couple of clicks....it's a nice gester when big companies and well known names like Amazon and others help such horrific causes
