Many of my Hot 97 tapes have a song on it called 'Love Desire'. I have a live recording of it from one of their hot nights, but I don't know who the artist is. I always loved that song, but it never seems to turn up on Freestyle compilations. Does anyone know who the artist was?
 
OK, thanks. I searched for that song and artist last night on Amazon and a couple other places and didn't find it anywhere. I will keep looking.

Hmm, I listened to the link and although I definitely know and like that song, that isn't the one I was thinking of. The song I am talking about is a bit slower and has a guy rapping in the middle. I think her first line is 'When we met, I thought you were cute', and his rap starts out with 'When we first met, you thought I was arrogant'. It is on my Hot 97 tapes from 1991.

Hello, Yes the name of the song with the rapp in the middle is called Love Desire by Sandee. It has background vocals by Sam Savon (My Heart Alone)--not sure who did the rapp.
