Anyone here watch any of the daytime Soap Operas?
 
I watch All My Children. Been watching it since i used to stand in my crib and hum the theme song [thats what my mom told me]. I used to watch One Life To Live & General Hospital..but stopped watching GH when they killed Stavros Cassadine & OLTL when Mitch Lawrence died.
 
Well I've been watching Days Of Our Lives since I was about 4 and it's my fave...
I watch Y&R and have been watching it since I was 10 and I also watch Passion but only if I'm home...

I actually record Days and Y&R if I know I'm gonna miss it
 
My favorite soaps are:

The Young and The Restless - I do not like John's wife for NOTHING! I can't believe Casey was in a car accident with Danny Jr? Will Brad and Victoria hook up? I love Nick! Sharon is pretty but pobre-she always has drama going on in her life.

Ok, and I also LOVE The Bold and the Beautiful - so Taylor is back!!!!!
Poor Brooke, now what? And Taylor thought Ridge was wearing "their" wedding ring still when in fact it's Brooke's! bummer. Where's Amber these days?

I used to watch All My Children back in the day. Not sure if this counts, but at night, I used to watch Beverly Hills 90210

Sonya - I speak to Kristian Alfonso quite a bit (she's best friends with someone I know who used to be in charge of Daytime publicity for NBC) and she is very cool and the nicest person you could ever meet - I've also talked to Deirdre Hall a couple of times and once to Peter Reckell (Bo). He also knows Jesse Metcalf, the gardener on DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES who used to be on DAYS...
 
so that's why you were able to write the cool stuff in the cf soap opera thread.

you may as well be living in one, with all the people you know.
 
I watch the ABC soaps and the best storyline by far was the All My Children/One Life To Live baby crossover, because so many people were involved. It was really fun to see Adam Chandler toss barbs with Dorian Lord and Asa Buchanan!!

I know do know quite a few people - mostly in the tv industry...but the real reason I was able to write all that stuff is because I have a warped imagination heh heh heh

ABC all the way! LOL. But I actually don't watch anything anymore. Took up too much time taping, watching, keeping up. I used to watch "Ryan's Hope" and "Edge of Night" before they were canceled. Am I aging myself? Oops. Still try to keep up on what's happening on General Hospital even though I don't watch.
 
I watch General Hospital (which is my fave!), Days of our Lives (which Ive watched since Im a kid), and Ive gotten into One Life to Live but I ony watch it when Im home.

By the way, Jesse Metcalfe from Desperate Housewives, used to be on Passions, not Days.

I actually like the first actress they had playing John's wife this new actress doesn't seem to fit the roll as well as the other did...yeah I can't believe about the accident...yeah poor Sharon it's always one thing or another for her...I actually like the new Victoria but why did they replace Mac again???

OMG I was humming the theme to RYAN'S HOPE this morning!!! Thank God for soapnet!!! As far as GH goes, right now there's a murder mystery surrounding AJ Quartermaine's death!!

With Passions if I'm home I'll watch it but I won't record it or delay running my errands for Passions...I do for Y&R and Days tho lol

Passions is a little to predictable and drags it's story lines for wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy too long...
