there is a new radio station in town and its 93.1 FM. They are party 93.1 in miami Ft Lauderdale and the palm beaches. They just launched this morning. And they called themselve miami's freestyle and dance station. I was hearing it tonight and can I say wow. They listen to us. Miami we need to bring up the ratings and start calling ill post up numbers as soon as I can and more info but they are here to stay.

We cant stop listening it here. And all I can say is I know we will hit it very hard. Dance/Freestyle back in miami with a vengence we might give new york a run for their money

Hopefully in a year or two, WGMS or WAVA might change into something good like a dance station. Maybe WKYS sinc WPGC is beating them in the ratings!!

I'm soooo glad i found this site. Since reading about this new station in Miami I've been listening to it on the net...I must say I'm JEALOUS!!!!!! There is nothing like this in New Orleans. Maybe someday though...one can dream =)

I'm listening to it right now and I love it. We sort of have a "Dance" radio station here, WDRQ - 93.1 FM but they seem to play more of the latest Hip Hop and Pop tunes? I will call the number and make song requests. Hoping this New Year that's upon us opens eyes to this new trend. GO Florida!!!!!!!!

OK, you guys really have to email/call these guys, make sure they do get in some freestyle. I did hear Jocelyn Enriquez- A Little Bit Of Excstacy, but the rest is trance or house. There is a huge demand for freestyle in Florida, make sure you are heard! Too many dance stations have failed playing the wrong music, going too underground. No matter what people say about freestyle it would be vital to this station, especially with the large freestyle following. Let them know you're out there. I know from working in radio, that the young raver kids are the most vocal and call the station most, and this can give them a false impression of what is hot out there, you need to call in a represent the freestyle. I wish this station much success, I wish I lived in Miami right now, this station is off the hook!
 
It was purely by chance that I found this site. I was surfin the net and did a search on MSN for freestyle music and BAM! up pops a link for this site. =)

I came in and looked around but didn't sign up right away. I mailed the info link about the song I was looking for and Jack wrote back for me to join the site and post in the "where can i find this" section.

i know what your saying about the freestyle. And make sure south fla will make sure there is alot of freestyle. This is a party day down here and that might be why there is more trance and some underground. But rest asured that if I have anything to say freestyle will be a huge part!!. Freestyle Artists already know about this station and its just there first full day. And yes the station is great!! I herd it almost all day and i did hear stevie B rockell and clips of johnny O and debbie deb. So I know its there.
 
I've listened to the station as well and almost NO freestyle at all. I'm worried. I heard one freestyle song in 2 1/2 hours. that is ridiculous on a dance station, especially in Miami. they sound like they are going more in the trance direction. stupid of them. and I don't think it's just because of the holiday that they are going deeper. the people have to change it, stations have been known to tweak their formats after they go on air, but a lot of that will probably depend on initial response to the station.

this is great news! miami was in need of a dance station since power 96 plays less of it now...i think it's great that they mix trance, breakbeats, dance and freestyle together! I cant wait to come down next month and check it out.....clubgirl im going to call u later tonight!
