Well Yvette, I knew the show was going to be weak and it was. As you saw on T.V. Chris Rock was somewhat funny but the show lacked the explosiveness of last year. I thought that Mary J. Blige's show was the best of the night even though she performed outside; but we still got to see the show on the big screen monitor. We actually had more fun joking around with the crowd in my section during the television commercials. I'm ashamed at Missy Elliot's poor engilsh. I wannna thank my hairstylist "cause she do my hair". Most of the rock artists that were there looked and dressed like bums. All the Hip Hop artists looked like they were going to a barbecue. It's really a shame that most of these artists are making thousands of dollars in the industry and won't spend a few hundred dollars and put on a nice looking suit. I guess that's the sign of the times. Beyonce looked absolutely delicious and I got to high five Eminem as I made my way to my seat. MTV did a good job in putting the show together but it really lacked in keeping the audience motivated. As I was leaving after the show I holla'd at Christina Aguilera on the way out and she smiled at me. Having the opportunity to go to shows like this is a great experience but sometimes you get disappointed. By the time we got out of Radio City Music Hall it was about 11:30 P.M. and with all the five o outside you would think the President was in town.:blah

Jason you are hilarious! That Missy Elliot "slang" was funny. You're right, it is poor english. And you're right about the rap artists looking like they were going to a barbecue. Did you see Jay Z? Oh my god, I was shocked at him more than anybody else because for someone who just opened a club on Chelsea 40/40 Club, he looked bummy. He could've represented alot more conservative than that. And what was up with him and Beyonce? They looked like they weren't even talking the whole night. Must've had an argument or something.:blah
But I still wish I could've been there. They're a lot more interesting to see in person than t.v. 😀

When she got up for her second award she didn't forget to holla at him though. If you and Willie were there we would have really had a good time. My section was the sh*t.
Enigma, o.k. no suits, but lets be realistic. As Black Latino artists we need to make ourselves more presentable. You walk in the streets and see 10 year old with doo rags on.😀
