Skin/hair care question for you......

Ok here is a question, and I hope someone can give me an answer.

I have always had oily hair, (Yuck!!!) and always bought shampoo for oily hair to keep it in check.

Well, of course now I have that lovely bald spot on my head and receeding hairline in front. This is why I buzz it down to a crew cut, instead of that lovely Louie DePalma look I used to have going. :lol

Now, however, I seem to get an oily scalp (double yuck!) and was wondering if any male cf members have this issue, and what they do to stop it.

Or, if some of the lovely cf ladies have a man who buzzes/shaves their head, and what product they use.....

well chuck since i was a beautician and facialist for 10 yrs, i think i can answer this one. oil is produced from your sebacious glands, also known as pores. your hair got oily from just that. just cause you are balding doesnt mean that changes your chemical makeup. over productive oil glands are caused by several factors: enviroment, genetics, stress, nutrients(diet) and habits. toremedy the problem try using head and shoulders for oily hair or nutrogena tee tree shampoo. also you still need to moisturize in order to not over stimulate the oil glands. good luck.
