well the news just broke with this, they know two have been wounded, no news on wether they have caught the shooter. WOW! I mean, WTF is going on?

Two people were shot on the 2nd Floor. They said 10 shots were fired by a man on the balcony. They just took the 2 victims out on stretchers. They closed down the FDR Drive from 34th Street and I think the Bklyn Bridge, as well. Mayor Bloomberg was on the 1st floor and was not hurt.

dan they missed Bloomberg, shit I would shoot the shooter just for that! abrazo it's in NY, it's complete chaos from what I can see on TV. it has been evacuated. Gunman is still armed, and they have not caught him yet.

Randi, yeah in some aspect, but at least in NY you know it's either a gunshot or a knife would..lol other places they have torture, people eating people and shit..lol

Watch this turn out to be a Lovers quarrel or something like that.
 
They think Brooklyn Councilman, Jim Davis was one of the persons shot. He was shot twice in the chest.confirmed. They think the shooter was wounded himself by a security guard. They have yet to capture him.
 
Another councilman, said that it was Jim Davis' opponent who shot him. as JIm Davis went to shake the other mans hand the guy shot Davis in the chest several times, and that the medics were massaging his heart, but that it didn't look good. They were in some type of celebration.

No they havent yet confirmed who the shooter was, or if he knew James Davis. But it's terrible, nonetheless. He was a young man who was trying to fight violence, and meanwhile was the victim of a violent act. Very sad!
