Serious consideration for this board.....

Hello CF Admins,
I am an administrator at another vb board. My staff has found it to be user friendly for the members if you set the board to default a subscription to a user when a user has posted in or created a thread. It makes it MUCH easier to keep track of different convesations they have had and when people have responded to them.

Every time I visit here I have to find each thread individually and look in it to see if it has been responded to. It is quite a hassle and I only have a few posts!

If a way to subscrbe to your threads already exists then can someone please point out to me how to do it. I have looked and looked and can't find a way to do it.

Here's a tip though...when checking your threads or others for replies...the lil red circles will show when there is a new reply in the forums when you first log into CF for the day...once you open the forum...there are lil boxes with arrows in them that indicate the threads with new replies. Hope this helps somewhat until Jack can answer on how to subscribe to a certain thread/forum. 🙂

Your resonse is MUCH appreciated because I have posed this question a few times now with no response.

I am aware of what you are talking about because I administrate another board exactly like this one. I know how to see new posts and what not but to be able to subscribe to posts helps immensely because individuals don't have to go to evry single thread they have posted in to find out if it has been responded to......if threads could be subscribed then everyone could just go to there User control panel and all the threads that have been responded to will be there.

ok heres what i do, whenever i go into cf the first thing i do is use the search function. i put my s/n in and the last posting time as within the last week. that way i can see if other people commented in my threads or posts. it's easy that way for me to keep track of my posts, artemis does that help?
