I'm not a DJ, but my best friend is experimenting on his own with
some samples, edits or clips from the 80's that were included on a lot of
freestyle mixes. Can anyone tell me where I can get these sound FX,clips or edits (I dont know how to call 'em) some of the most famous ones I remember:

"This is a journey into sound.."
"yeaahhh boyyyyyyyyyy" (Flava Flave From Public Enemy)
"Bass, how low can you go..Death row..What a brother knows" (From Public Enemy)
"...way back..back into time"
"Drop it...to the rithym"
--the human beat box

My question is Do I have to buy all the original albums to get these clips?? Or are these all gathered in a compilation, if they are how can I get them??

Any information provided will be useful to myself and very much appreciated.

Go to Winmix go on search put down dj tools & you will see alot of these drops..

no, the program winmx not the website. or just try any p2p network like kazaa whatever

i have an entire pack of vocal samples if you want. not necessairly the ones you listed but still i like them. just drop me a pm and i'll send them over

hey man go to music stores and search for
:HARRIS, Simon - Beats Breaks & Scratches they come in Lp format and they are about 12 volumes (12 lps) all the samples you are looking for are found in them
also in the Dmc competitions Dj's mostly use these effects
i used to have them and i remember i recorded them on cds before selling the Lp's and i dunno if i still got the cds gimme a couple of days and i'll search for them
