Yesterday, 13 yr old poet Mattie Stepanek died from muscular dystrophy. This boy was was one of the sweetest, most intelligents kids I have ever seen in my life. He wrote 4 books of poetry that were NY Times bestsellers. He spoke all the time of his wish for peace in the world. He read some of his poems on Larry King Live a few yrs ago and an adult couldnt have written more beautiful poems. Its a shame that someone like this had to be taken from us so soon. May his rest in peace with his brothers and sister who also died of the same disease.
