now thats back in the day lloll

100 mph wind passing by nyc. if you rememebr thats when people first started telling people

to tape that goofy x on the window to prevent it from breaking.

then we had another one in 86 or so. but it wasnt as strong.

david was the strongest i ever sceen up here

I remember that clearly. The window was ratting in the living room (we had one window).

I remember seeing the streets empty in NYC and the heavy rain with winds when they showed it on the news.

The one I most remember is Gloria. We had lost power out here on Long Island for like 3 days or so. My dad was barbecuing everything in sight...he never took any hurricane seriously. After he got his video camera in 1989 or so, he'd always send me walking around the neighborhood with that damn video camera to catch some of the action.

i still do

i rem being out on my pourch and seeing the bangs whip by. hurricainces are the bomb if your up here. bec by the time they get here there just cool cuase they slow down to 45 mph.

i dont think no huricaine will ever make it up here at 75 mph.

if it did. wed be all screwed aint nothing here built to take 80 mph.
