Wrong.

Peter Fontaine & N.V. are two completely different people.

After Peter left High Power, Tony Garcia sent Noel Figueroa around performing (lip synching) as Peter Fontaine until some of Peter's friends went to a "Peter Fontaine" performance and exposed Noel Figueroa as a fraud.

Noel was quickly renamed "N.V." and he was already performing Peter's songs, High Power/Warlock rereleased Peter's classic material under the name "N.V." to help keep the facade. Noel Figueroa (N.V.) continued to perform Peter's songs and eventually the name "N.V." stuck.

Yep.

Peter Fontaine sings "The Way She Looks At Me" and "Just Like The Wind". All of the other N.V. releases are performed by Noel Figueroa, including the album.

Yes it is true Peter and N.V. are 2 different people, but N.V. did not actually sing the vocals on "Girl you hear me crying" either I heard the song in demo form from the writer Ari Goodman (Who is the actual voice on the record) Before he even talked to any one about selling the song. When he told Hector and I he sold it to High Power for N.V. we were surprised to hear it with exactly the same music and vocals. So N.V. must be the most famous Freestyle singer who never really sang the songs he is most known for. Talk about your Freestyle Milli Vanilli

Thats correct Ari Goodman did do the vocals on "GIRL YOU HEAR ME CRYING" I was prevledge myself to have Ari show me some demos back in 1992-93 and he actually had some other really good material on that demo tape.
Ari was very talented with drums and melodies I say was because I have since been out of touch since 1994. Last I heard he resided in PA.
