Recording Echo!!!!

I was wondering if anyone knew anything about recording vocals...on the computer...i am stuck on the echo...i am using creative wave studio...and it asks me for the Magnitude (in percentage) and the delay of the echo (in milliseconds)...i want a nice auditorium sound type of echo...if anyone can help me configure the echo...it would be greatly appreciated,
