Reading another thread got me too wondering what has been one of the biggest challenges in getting into the business, making it in the business. what has been your biggest adversity in trying to break into the industry. Has there ever been in a time when you felt nah I am not going to do. Also what has been the biggest satisfaction you have felt in getting into the industry hollllllaaaaaaaaaa back 🙂
 
Well for me as a female artist, I would have to say, dodging the" Well I'll produce a song for you if you go out to dinner with me" or "you know we gotta hook up", I was like maybe I don't want this!.lolol but I always stuck to my guns and NO means NO! when I say no.😉
also finding my own niche in this cut throat industry.


Biggest Satisfaction is hearing the fans sing your songs with you, and the arenalin you feel when you get on stage! woohoo😉

u have to be veryyyyyyyyyy careful who u work with. cuz there's alot of bull$%^&* out there, that they say they know everybody..so u have to becareful...and think about it real good,,,, cuz sometimes it not what u know .. its who u know.........
 
I think the worst part of this is: How you meet people who smile in your face but are just waiting to hurt you. They cut your throat and pretend to be you friend.

Jealousy consumes them so they do what ever they can to make things harder for you ect ect....I mean the list goes on.

Now don't get me wrong because in any genre of music you will find this but what's so bad about this is that we are such a small community of artist/producers/radio personality's and we don't even know how to work or be civil to one another.

For my self I would say the best thing has been knowing that I work hard and don't count on anyone to get me were I want to go and that every step I take to further my career has brought me respect, friends, and most of all love for what I do and that is to be a true artist. Creating music through song.
