Alright my peeps. I'm headed to la isla del canto in about a couple of weeks. I can't stand this stupid weather rather than drive upstate to Vermont. Sooo, I thought I ask any of you about recommendations if u know of any. Good hotels but not that pricey. But not a down and out roach motel either, lolol...All I ask is one with a pool (I'm taking my cutie patootie six month old baby with me 😉 .) Near the beach. I'll be there for a couple of nights. Like 5 nights. I've been on Expedia, Hotels.com, and just not giving me many ''deals''. so I figure as I'm checking it out, why don't I ask y'all of anything you might recommend. I'll be going the week BEFORE presidents birthday holidays. My tickets are set and not bad (cost) for travel. I can't wait if u ask me, lol. So gimme some info. :sround

/\/\.. :thanks

P.S.: I'll be headed to San Juan. Or Old San Juan. If that helps....

OK Marc, Let me get some info for you, I know my family that live out there, and they will let me know. Im always staying in Aguadilla PR. I love this hotel over there its called Cielo Y Mar. But Im going to get info. Im going to pm you.

Oh Dayum, ...u neva been there at all??

Well one obvious stop is Old San Juan, ("The Ancient Fortress City").
Especially "El Morro". That's pure history right there.
(The REAL "Pitrates Of The Carribean" baby!)

El Yunque (El Yunque Rainforest) - One of the main Rainforest treasures of the world. With water so fresh & naturally sweet, ..u can drink it. & Home to many exotic plants & animals.

Las Cuavas De Camuy (The Camuy Caves) - You feel like you're entering the center of the earth. lol. Very beautiful & interesting. Guided tours in English & Spanish.
(But if you will be with the baby, ...I don't think the Caves, and some parts of the Rainforest are a good idea.)

The Casa Bacardi Musuem & Rum Distillery. (FREE SAMPLES!)🙂

One of my fav's, (& sooo phuckin' kool) - The "Bio-Luminescent Bay" in Vieques.
It's a Lagoon, which on moon-less nights, they take a tour boat out into the bay,
& With every stroke of ur paddle, or of your hand in the water, ...it stirrs up shimmering irridescence. The water LITERALLY glows neon when there is any movement in the water. (Think the same way those neon stick-on stars react to a black light). It is definetally sumthin' outta this world!

There's so much to do, & so much to see, it would take forever to cover everything, But there are many different beaches (each offering something different), classy nightclubs, all kinds of food & restaurants & street corner Kioscos (Kiosks) serving all the goodies, Relleno De Papa, Alcapurias, Piraguas, etc, Shopping, festivals, live music, sports events, car shows, river rafting, horseback riding on the beach, & even private sailboats that offer great food & take you scooba diving or to your own private party on nearby small deserted islands. (Anything you wanna do, is pretty much there). 🙂
Many don't know of all that P.R. has to offer, as most go only to visit fam & just come right back to the states.

The links I gave you should provide All the hotel info by price range. I can't exacty direct you where to stay as I always stay with family. But the links should have what u are lookin' for.
Also, as soon as you arrive, wether at the airport, (or preferreably the Car Rental place), make sure you ask for a map, & for any tour magazines. These also have maps (sometimes better ones), & of course they provide all the info & pics. 🙂
& With the highways put into right place, getting to places is a breeze.
Traffic sux, & there are a million phuckin' "one-ways" everywhere. (Grrr!)

Lemme know if u find anything on the links.
& When you go, ..have fun, & enjoy yourself. It's Paradise.
As they say:
.."You're not dreaming,
...................you're in, Puerto Rico." 🙂

Dayum CompanyB. I may hire u as a guide lolol! Thanx, LaIndia. I'm still looking as I read and write here. Pretty good links btw, peeps! *yeaaaay!!*

Too wierd!

We been talkin about P.R. here these past couple days, & today I go to an appointment with my mom, & in the waiting room my mom looked at the Nov/Dec issue of GOLF magazine to see if it had anything on ChiChi Rodriguez, & it did, & also had a whole section on P.R. & it's places to visit , etc.

They even talked about the Bioluminescent Bay, & to my surprise, as I read, I found out P.R. doesnt have just one, ....but THREE! (& only six of them exist in the world).
So that waz kool.

It also taked about P.R.'s original drink (The Pina Colada).
Funny, how me & my friend made some last night in my 'Magic Bullet' blender - lol.
Too wierd!
