my co-worker asked for my wedding ring and put it through a string and had it hovering over my belly, supposedly if it goes sideways it's a boy? and if it just goes in circles it's a girl?..lolol I was cracking up and she says to me "don't laugh, this really works"

What othjer pregnancy tales or myths do you know of that are "fool proof" or was always doen in your family? our was blindfloding the mother at the shower and have her sit on a pillow on a chair, if she sits on the fork it's a boy if she sits on the spoon it's a girl...LOLOL

Well they say if you start getting ugly that you are having a girl because she is taking your beauty away...if it is a boy you stay the same...no changes in your appearance....
 
Now theres one I never heard of..lol

I heard that if your nose gets huge then it's a girl..or if the belly stays round it's a boy.

they have a bet going here at work, 4 say it's a girl 3 say it's a boy
 
I'm a single female who has NEVER experienced pregnancy, the joys of motherhood or the birth of a child (so you can call me a sad childless woman lol), but anyway, from the women in my family who have given birth in the past this is what they've told me:

If your belly is nice and ROUND, then its a GIRL.
If your belly is POINTED OUTWARD, then its a BOY.

Not sure if that's true, but look at the shape of your belly. And did you get a sonogram done yet?
 
yeah I had the sonogram done, but it didn't show anything, and I am waiting on the amnio results this week, then I will no for sure what it is..🙂 I just hate waiting,,ugh!

But did you see the shape of the belly? See if it appears pointed or round.

it's round and evryone is tellign me I look bigger than what I am..🙁

Girl don't get sad...

Ok so if its round, then it could be a GIRL...but I would wait until the results come back, I don't want to be wrong about this (I still think its a GIRL 🙂).
 
well mostly everyone in my family thinks it's a girl, and I tend to refer to the baby as her/she...but I hope they have the results tonight, I've never been big on patience..lol
