This weekend; British Soccer star David Beckham and wife; Posh Spice/Vicky Beckham were dissed by a shoe store owner in Beverly Hills. When they came into the store to buy shoes, David asked the store owner to close the blinds so nobody could see them shop. The owner refused. Beckham got mad saying;" stores in Britan do it, I'm a big star in Europe.". The owner still refused.

Good for him!!! I'm glad David and Posh Spice Beckham got dissed. Hello, what was the name of that group you used to sing with again. By the way David, you the biggest star in Europe, but we don't give a rat's a$$ about you here in the states. We hate soccer here in the states!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kobe Bryant, Robert deNiro don ask for store blinds to be closed, and they are big US superstars. So why don't you. Just buy your junk then get back in your Rolls and roll out!!!!!!!:rolleyes

OK, let met explain the take.

I know soccer is played a lot in the US, we do have The MLS, surburban kids play soccer. That's where the name; Soccer Mom come from.LOL. And in DC, Texas, LA, NYC where there are large Hispanic and Carribiean populations, there is lots of soccer. Yes,we did well in The World Cup. My take is; as much as many people play soccer, It will never be a major sport in The US like; The NFL(our football), NBA, etc. My take on David what ever the F his name is, my take is; he may be a big star in England, but he does not mean crap in the US. To top it off, nobody in Bevery Hills even know who he is. And his wife; Posh Spice, her group has not had a American hit in like ..6 years. That's what I was trying to say in the take. Hey, I love soccer😉

I did not want to offend anybody. I was having a nice funny take. hey, Kobe Bryant, AI, Sammy(cork or no cork) are big sports stars here in the US. But none of them go into stores and ask the owners to close them while they shop. And Robert DeNiro is as big of a movie star as they get, but he never ask for stores to be closed while he shop. So David and Hasbeen Spice needs to get a life.:blah
