Bush??? Oh so this is funny to you isn't it?? You think it's funny having the majority of the US army that isn't anymore than 20 years old fight a war that they themselves have no idea what the !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they fighting for??? You think it's funny having blood shed for oil??? As far as I know, this country has too much bullshit pride.
 
I have a few friends that are still in the Marines, and from the e-mails and the letters that they tell is a lot different than what the press is telling us. They know exactly what they are their for and what they are fighting for. It's also a lot different than the small minded people that tell us that we're their for oil. Some people just don't get it and they never will. It's as though 9/11 never happened for those idiots.
 
I'm with Kerry. I'm not gonna hold the Vietnam purple heart thing against him. Nam was a wild deadly time. It was a war that should not have happened. Lot's of those in the war needed an edge.
 
Personally, Bush had his chance in the White House and he phucked it up.....the only thing he has going for him his this so-called war that close-minded, conservative-thinking, war-happy American's feel justifies everything...when in fact it really doesn't justify shit. These are the same Americans who feel that "we", as a county, are better than everyone else. Lets put pride aside and look at the real issues that surround us....Social Security, Taxes, Equal Rights....Gay Rights....Woman's Right....Abortion....this is the shit that should be on the table, not this played out "war".

9/11 happened, and God bless America for supplying the funds. 🙂

By the way, I just saw Osama.........he's fine. Livin' it up. 🙂
 
This republican convention is mostly everyone dissing Kerry. They was not talking about anything. Arnold still think his job is a movie!!

You're right Carlito. One day the "war" will be over, and then the other issues you mentioned will be on the table.

My vote is for Kerry but i'm not to thrill about him neigther. & i agree with carlito that Bush had his turned and he didnt do a great job but i also respect the opinions of those that are voting for him because after all you are allowed to vote for whom ever you want.

They enlisted to do it. Its not like theres a draft or anything. Yes they do know what they're doing. They go through very rigorous training for it. And it's not just for oil either.

I think the war was necesary.


Also - Kerry is AGAINST gay marriages, and FOR keep abortions legal. I respect him on that note. One thing I dont like about him is that he's trying to raise minimum wage to $8. Milk is already $4 a gallon and gas is about $3. If minimum wage goes up everything else well. Kerry thinks he'll be solving economic problems when he's just making things worse.

Although Im not exited about them both, I just picked who I think is the stronger canidate which is BUSH.This is the U.S I have every right to vote who I want for, I could careless if your a REPUBLICAN, DEMOCRATIC, Etc..
 
anybody force themselves to sit thru the Republican National Convention??? I did... just on principal h ow - c an - any one - iin - their - riiightt - miind - vo te - for - aiye - guy - who - can't - speeak - as - goood - as - myy - siix - yeeer - old . I can't undestand how anyone can vote for this guy... seriously did anyone catch his speech???? Talks out of his ass, no heart, no substance, all lies, all bullshit, all agenda, nothing behind his eyes when he talks, embarrassing. Then I watched Kerry's rebuttle speech afterwards... man i wish we had a stronger candidate than Kerry, his speech sucked he shoulda ripped into these buffoons. i don't like him, don't believe a word he says, he's too wimpy & wishy washy.... but in this case he's the lesser of the two evils so he's gettin my vote for sure.

i sat next to a veteran on the express bus who just came home from Iraq & he said the exact opposite... he said the majority of our troops now despise bush & the morality amongst them is very low. Of course that's just one dudes opinion, but it just makes me sad & makes me more motivated to set things right in November.
 
and one more quick comment, my boss was telling me he sat next to an arab dude on a plane & the guy was saying just after 9/11 most muslems were overwhelmingly in support of the United States, they felt sympathetic towards us & were against Al-Queda for what they did. After Bush bombed Iraq the majority of Muslems despised us, they downright hate us...

Kerry has never said he is FOR gay marriage.

However, he has stated that gay marrige is a matter that the STATES should be able to decide if they want to allow gay marriage.

Bush, with his Federal Marriage Amendment wants to take that decision away from all states, by making not only marriage, but ANY gay union against the law, giving us no options at all, like domestic partnerships or civil unions.
