So today is your birthday
So I thought of writing you this poem
To tell you everything I wish for you on this day
And all the other days to come
I thought and thought about what to get you
And nothing unique or special came to mind
What do you give to a friend who has been so true
And who has been there for me all the time
So I started thinking of the things you like
Those darn chick flicks you torture me to see
All those times when we go out dressed alike
Ohhh and when we drink our Strawberry margaritas at Applebees!
That's when I thought about all those times
When you would make me laugh at the silliest things
That tears would literally come out of my eyes
How much joy you always seem to bring
Every time we’re together I realized how remarkable
You've have become, you’ve grown from this young girl
To a beautiful woman who is simply incredible
And I know you will conquer the world
Really, I feel like I've known you forever
As if you've always been here as my dearest friend
A friend like you will not say never
Cuz the feeling of welcome will not end
So I wish for you sunny skies all day long
So you may have long lazy days at the Beach
Nights sparkling with silver stars to wish upon
So that there is nothing out of your reach
So here's to your Special Day... Yea your Birthday!
