PLJ playing freestyle?????

No i'm not drinking. In the math tutor lab this morning, The head tutor(whos from NYC) was streaming PLJ(the power house station for the Mini Van driving Soccer moms!)through the internet. In a sweep of their usual Jewel, LifeHouse, and Smashmouth, I heard them play Noel-Silent Morning. Later in the hour, they was playing Expose-Point of No Return. I was like saying, this is crappy PLJ playing freestyle?😱 Looks like something right is going on with radio and freestyle!! I'm still shocked, but glad.

they tend to play 80s freestyle..since it did count as pop music of the time...i used to hear them a lot back wen i was workin at modells..so i got familiar with their airplay

Now that's interesting - the particular choice of those 2 songs - hopefully I'll be able to explain why soon, as well.

BTW, I am NOT a soccer mom, but I happen to like plj - tho I've been listening to LIR more lately. Meanwhile, as Noel's "Silent Morning" is STILL available in most places, all of a sudden I see an online music store that has the 1988 album as "re released" last month. With his VH1 appearance coming up - well, looks like there's definitely something up - hopefully it'll be good for all.

Now if we can just get WLIR to start playing "WIll I Find True Love".......
