Please help

I've been looking for two songs, and I can't seem to locate the correct Title or Artist. However, I can recall the chorus.

The first song goes "Wondering, if this love we have is true. Wondering, is it me or you ....."

The other song goes " ....like Romeo and Juliet had to pay a price, I'd rather be alive than cold as ice. I've got to find, a better way. I've got to find, a better way."

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. 😕

The 2nd one is my all-time favorite old school house song "A Better Way" by none other than Royal House from 1988 on Idlers Records (NY).
This song always reminds me of the late 80's crusin' up and down 86th....lol :O)
