WHY DON'T A FEW NEW OR OLD SCHOOL FREESTYLE ARTISTS GET TOGETHER AND RECORD A NEW FREESTYLE SONG FEATURING EACH OTHER AS WELL AS FILMING THE SONG'S VIDEO?

IT'LL NEVER HAPPEN SIMPLY BECAUSE NEW OR OLD SCHOOL FREESTYLE ARTISTS DON'T LOOK OUT FOR EACH OTHER THERE'S NO UNITY OR RESPECT GIVEN TO EACH OTHER AS IN THE HIP-HOP, RAP, R&B MUSICAL SCENE.

Sweety Pie...you need to rephrase that! The new school artists from what I've seen and the ones that I've talked to have mad respect for the old schoolers. It's the old schoolers that don't have the respect. Some do but others don't.

That's just MY feelings on this though! 🙂

No way Sweety! I understood you completely 😉 It's just that the way you said it made it sound like the new schoolers didn't respect those that came before them and thats just not true. None of the new schoolers that I've spoken to have ever disrespected the old schoolers. 🙂

I see what you mean though, In hip-hop, rappers often enlist R&B singers or other rappers to collaborate with on a track. But I think that takes a lot of time and money. You gotta workout all the label issues and then you have to schedule times for it to be done and since most freestyle acts seem to hold down regular 9 to 5's, it may be harder or even pointless to go about making something like that happen

OK KRYSTAL now you done did it!.lol actually I have heard some comments from a few new school but we won't bring that up, 98% of them are truly great. I love these new schoolers, cause they represent the future.😉

Not at all Sweety...what I'm saying is that these days there is no support for Freestyle like Hip Hop/Rap has. You go back in the day and tell me what hip hop/rap artists were in each others videos. That all came about recently when the hip hop/rap genre exploded like it has. 🙂

I LOVE FREESTYLE TO DEATH BUT FREESTYLE WAS TOTALLY KILLED BY IT'S OWN RECORDING ARTISTS AND REPRESENTATIVES. THOSE WHO NEVER SHARED THEIR FAME, CONNECTIONS OR SUCCESS WITH OTHER FREESTYLE ARTISTS OR REPRESENTATIVES AND THOSE WHO JUST SIMPLY TOTALLY SOLD FREESTYLE OUT!!!!

PLUS SOME FREESTYLE SONGWRITERS AND RECORD PRODUCERS WERE JUST MAKING EVERY SONG SOUND THE SAME AND THAT ALSO ADDED TO THE MURDER OF FREESTYLE.

AT ONE POINT ANYONE COULD'VE BECOME A FREESTYLE SINGER, SONGWRITER OR PRODUCER, WHETHER THEIR SKILLS WERE GOOD OR BAD IN SINGING, WRITING OR PRODUCING, IT JUST DIDN'T MATTER!!!!
