He got busted in a queens MacDonald I believe because he thought he was getting together with a 14 year he was chatting with on the "I LOVE NYPD" chatroom, but the 14 year old turned out to be an undercover police officer herself....How do you face yourself or your wife and children after getting busted for that?

and it's a shame because there are some great police officers out there, especially ones that work with the youth, but fiends like this take advantage of the faith that people put in these protectors. And you know what bothers me the most is that they try to hide thier face when the cameras are there...
 
I hate hearing about things like this, but it is so, so common. It is so easy for people that are an authoritive figure (be it a priest ot police officer or teacher) to use their position for crap like this. They should get the toughest punishment there is, and then more.

It is a shame too, I agree, cause the good guys then get negative attention, when in reality you can't judge a whole group (be it race, nationality, or profession) by a few scumbags.

In related news, a martial arts school in Patchougue, Long Island just had one of they're assistants arrested for molesting at least 8 of the students there. He's taught in other schools, so police believe there to be more.
 
it is unfortunate but also what is that child doing in that chat anyway, and not expecting someone to get to her? these girls trying to grow up too fast and when reality hits they want to go crying to momma.

As for the child or any child being in a chat room like that...that falls back on the parents. WTF aren't they watching their children KNOWING the sick ass people we have in this world?

My godchild, who just made 15, is a computer geek. She's ALWAYS online when she's not out with her friends. I told my friend...you WATCH her at all times when she's on there. She gets flip with you and tells you something about checking up on her...you let me know. See...I'm the one that bought the puter for her back when she was 10. So far so good. There was only one incident when she got upset cuz my friend was checking up on her. Turns out her and her friends were planning on sneaking out and going to someone's house to chill.

I think it's also coming out more and more because we talk about these things with our children more than past generations used to.

What is really f-d up is that people go into certain professions so that they can be close to children, not the other way around. Priests, cops, karate instructors don't BECOME pedophiles, they are pedophiles who become priests, cops and karate instructors so they can have access to children. Scary.
 
When I read this in the paper I was like oh hell nah protect and serve el culo mio. Ths is some sick mierda grown ass men trying to sleep with children aye dios. Parents of kids 12 and up watch yuor childrens time on the net thats why I think it is so important to watch the time they spend on a computer.
 
The sad thing is that it's not just 12 and up on the internet... The othr day, my daughter who's only 8 went to check her e-mails, sometimes family members will send her e-mails...1st, I told her to let me look over it...One letter from family, like 6 from crap like 'hot pics of hot couples', 'improve penis size, stoke it suck it get it off' 'how to get unlimited hydrocodone real easily'. There were like 5 more of those...It is so easy for predators on the internet, cause everyone could be lying, and many times it's hard to trace the addresses.
