Pagers vs Cell Phones

One question; do anybody remember pagers? LOL. Do they even still exist? Most 10 year olds I see have cell phones since they are so cheap now, with these new plans. In my opinion, pagers are so 1996 now.LOL.

Feel free to correct me about pagers!!😉

beepers are still around. doctors use them all the time. they dont interfere with the hospital machineary like cell phones.

I like the text pagers, but they are so expensive. You can do that on a cell phone.

i have two pagers that i only used for a real short period of time, i was never crazy about owning one. and to think that they still have them in the stores w/so many different covers to choose from but i don't see anyone rushing to get one anymore.

Last pager I had was when I was working for the ambulance company. It saves time in that sense, cause you can page more than one person at a time, instead of calling each person on their cell.

Last time I used a not for work pager though was high school.

I know Doctors still use them. It's just cell phones can almost do everything from checking e-mail, intercom people. I know T-Mobile do it all.

yeah i have a simple phone and i only use it if i have to. i don't like to drive and have the phone on my ear or an ear peice..it's so uncomfortable.

I have a cell phone and now with T-mobile, they give the caller an option to put in a numeric message.

I didn't even know I had that feature until I called my girlfriend and her's had that message on her phone... and when I asked her how did she get that option for her cell phone... she just looked at me and called me a retard... and then clued me in that my phone worked that way too. lol
