One Night Stands
Do you believe there's a place for one-night stands? Do they serve a purpose? Have you ever had one that satisfied you?

(For the record I never had one, although I was curious I never did follow through)

my opinion...

i think one night stands fill a temporary void in lonely people's lives. eventually the loneliness comes back, and u end up feeling worse for trickin urself. i personally have never had a one night stand.... but i've seen my girlfriends go through them and the repercussions aren't pretty. they are almost always bad news and a sign of someone in need of help! i don't buy the crap that you can have one night stands and be fulfilled... i think they're dirty and mess you up. but that's just my opinion. 🙂
 
martini i must beg to differ...its something to spice up life when u are working and schoolin it to hard...LMAO...as long as u protect yourself properly...and u dont catch feelings and dont make a habit of it, i think its just fine...i mean right now i dont want a man breathing down my back...but ofcourse i dont always want to be by myself...i mean i have had a one night stand...it was good times...LOL...but i also have that one person i keep going back to...teaching them and learning from them...i mean if u go around and just go from place to place having sex...thats dirty...but one once a year or something...thats not to bad...get what i am saying????
 
i had a one night stand.............

and it was great we then for some strange reason became friends. with privledges

he then told me on my birthday that he found the person he wanted to be with.
turned out that 2 months later she wasn't all that but he was still with her

it took him months to finally ask me back for just one last time......so i did, and do you know what?
it wasn't even worth my time cuz i knew that i couldn't even attempt to be with him so i broke him off and have been without worry cuz i was no longer head over heels for him any longer.............
so all it does is play with your mind and stir your emotions
 
liz i had guys like that...that best friends with benefits thing...LMAO....but wheni say one night stand i mean like u dont want his number...just wanted him for those hours...LMAO

I have had a so called "one night stand" ...and it turned out we
both ended up liking each other so we started dating and all...
But not all one night stands turn out bad..you may actually turn out to like each other like in my case. Other than that it just full-fills each others wants and needs...

I WORK WITH HIS COUSIN AND HE CALLED ME CONSTANTLY AND THEN WE HOOKED UP A FEW TIMES BUT MY MIND WAS SHOT FOR LIKE 2 MONTHS CUZ HE MADE ME FEEL SO DAMN GOOD
HE HURT ME BY DOING IT THE WAY HE DID BUT WHATEVER , I FELT I HAD TO GET HIM AND MAKE HIM PAY.Y'KNOW?
SO WHEN I DID FINALLY MEET UP WITH HIM AGAIN I MADE IT SEEMED LIKE I WASTED MY TIME AND IN A WAY THAT'S HOW I FELT.

True Feelings on One NS

Hmmm let me clear my throat. I agree it is a expierience a single person will without a doubt encounter. For the simple reason being if you go out with someone and u cant perform up to satisfactory standards, then the label of a one night stand becomes engraved on your persona for all eternity. But in the same sense all relationships start and finish this way. For if we take it further than one night it becomes long term. but if its only for one night than just consider it short term. Dont cut yourself short in acting as though your moral value needs to be deflated as some hot air ballon. Because we all encounter one night stands but some take it further. And remane it a relationship or something else. My view on this is simple its just a label for a intimate encounter that didnt last.

There is nothing wrong with having a "one night stand" My one night stand experience ended up to become one of my boyfriends. I intended on only having sex with him and leaving but somehow he caught up to me and I gave him a chance and started to date:

It's good to experience things in life!!! have fun!! as long as your safe and not screwing around!!! I want to experience my life to the fullest!!!! and willing to try new things!
