do u have a firewall ?

I have to laugh at this post. I'm sorry ......

Peeps....

Firewalls DO NOT PREVENT VIRUS's. They prevent the Intrusion of Hackers that otherwise can enter your computer via an open port number that coincides with your IP address that a computer is given by the hosting server. I.e. your ISP. (AOL, Time WARNER. Citlink, etc etc.)
Ex: Your ISP DHCP Address is 56.345.2.123 you buy a linksys firewall which comes with a NAT built in. It will take your IP address and reconstruct it into a "Common user" address. EX 192.168.1.100

Now Virus Scanners will prevent Virus's granted they are updated periodically. (Every week.)

Browser Hijacking is a form of a virus, but not the type that is destructive. In fact, more and more browsers get hijacked daily then hookers in NY getting "Johns".

"How will I know if my Browser is Hijacked?"
when you start your browser and it does not start at the Home page of what you had picked yourself. Furthermore: endless amount of Pop ups.

Ok...this little tid bit of FYI is now over.

Continue on.
