Since our economy stinks, toymakers are backing down with putting out toys that will grab attention for X-Mas. They fear that they will lose money on a big toy that may become a flop. Now they are going back into the achives. Makers like Mattel is bringing back legendary toys from The80's, late 70's and early 90's. There is word that My Little Pony is coming back, Strawberry Shortcake and my fav; Transformers!! And Atari is coming back with the old 2500 games like; Space Invaders.

My question to Cfers(over 21.lol) what was your fav games/tous growing up in the 80's and early 90's, even late 70's?

Hey, do any of you remember these mid 80's Ghoul-looking soft rubber Gremlin-Slimer looking hand-puppets that there eyes looked real, & glowed in the dark & would move from side to side, there were a like 3 of them:
One in yucky green, another in dark blue, & anotha in Orange.

I had da blue one & I want one again!
I just dont remember what they were called.
🙁
Anyone remember???
I also had the Pee-Wee Herman doll & my brother pissed all over it & it never worked again - lol. 🙁

Ok, Here comes the toy expert!!!

the reason why "toys" from the past are making a comeback is because we want them back!!! the toy industry sees how many of us that are in our 30's and 40's are hunting down toys that we grew up with.

so, the toy industry sees this and they do studies and they redevelop all our favorites with a new features. some lines that had tremondous success are:

STAR WARS
GI JOE
TRANSFORMERS
HE-MAN

As long as there is something powerful to back them up (movie, cartoon, comic) they will keep producing them.

one company that had tremondous success in the 80's actually bought up all the little companies that had success (HASBRO, creator of GI JOE, TRANSFORMERS &MR POTATO HEAD) bought COLECO (COLECOVISION, CABBAGE PATCH KIDS) PARKER BROTHERS (MONOPOLY....HE-HE....KINDA WHAT THEY ARE DOING NOW WITH All the "buying") & KENNER (ORIGINAL STAR WARS LINE)

Smurfs and Mr. Do on Colecovision (Which I still Have) and Popeye and Dokey Kong & Donkey Kong Jr. for Atari (Which I also still have), but do you remenber I think it was called "Alter Beast" that was a cool game and Moon Patrol. He-Man, Tranformers, Silver Hawks, Thunder cats, She-ra, Go-bots (They were the best but short live since Transformers had more bots), Monchichies, Garbage Pail kids were freaking cool. Company B brought me back...dammmm 🙂

ALTERED BEAST was for the Sega system (genesis i believe) A friend of mine that was in the GUARDIAN ANGELS helped design it (hey Fernando Benitez....EAT YOUR HEART OUT!)

and MOON PATROL was for the ATARI systems.

Toys:

He-Man
Star Wars
GI Joe
My Magnifying Glass (I use to fry insects with the power of the Sun)
Cars (Mattel)

Electronics:

Calico Vision
Atari
Nintendo
My stereo

Various objects:

Tadpoles
Frogs
Hermit Crabs
Lizards
Turtles
Fish

And back in 1988, it was the discovery of the "right hand" and that certain, male organ.....

I hated that NFL Electric Football. I had one of those, all they did was vibrate. The figures did not move straight or nothing. That game been around from The late 70's, to early 90's.
