In going through my things and packing, I found these pics and wanted to share with you. One is of my Gramma in 1912(she was about 18) when she first got here from Italy, another of my brother the day he jumped in with the shark bait and another of my dad in 1942(He was 18 there).

Thanks, that's the oldest known pics of my gramma, and I have a ton of them from Coney Island and city rooftops. Sometimes I think when my dad passed, he left me the greatest treasure. I love seeing how they dressed back then. The women had such a natural glamour, not all fake looking, and if I show them to any of my aunts or uncles I get to hear all the old stories.

Old pics like this I think are so cool. They're so full of memories, and memories are something that's truly priceless.

have to share that one w/my hubby who is a fisherman.

Aw thanks guys. I even have my brother's prom portrait from 1964. Between the pose, the clothes and the hair, it's hysterical.

Thanks Chuck, Thanks Yahi!

Enigma, I was worried I sounded too much like a Mastercard commercial...😀

To me what is so cool to in many of the old pics when my dad was younger, my grandfather was a tailor and he designed and made the clothes for the family, like that suit my da was wearing.

Yep, I commented on it in the other thread...I love pics like those.
