If someone gives you a compliment, but they don't "do it" for you, or are not your "type"....do you still condider it a compliment?


I was telling someone about the toll booth guy hitting on me, and that he did nothing for me, but I still felt "sexy" about it.

My friend said that "I don't get that. Why would you feel good about someone who you don't find attractive hitting on you?"

My thought is it doesn't matter what they look like, something about me made they found attractive made them approach me.

I think that is a postive thing, and it makes me feel good, or sexy.

What do you think? If the person is not "attractive" to you, do you still think it's a compliment.
 
A compliment is a compliment.

(but yes, I have to agree with your friend, something about someone you find attractive giving you a compliment... it's just different, but the compliment remains the same, ya know what I mean?)

i know what you are saying chuck!!! i work around a lot of guys and they are always saying things to me...i don't find a lot of them attractive...but it's nice to hear comliments every now and then...expecially when you are feeling down about yourself...or are gaining weight!!!!!!! lol!!!!!!😉
 
a compliment is a compliment... u dont have to be attracted to the person... jsut accept it and smile 😀

Compliments are compliments!!!
They make me feel sexy and good about myself even though
I dont find that other person attractive.

Normally girls tell each other compliments (girl to girl stuff) and we
feel good about it. I mean if a girlfriend doesnt tell another friend that
she looks good in the outfit, the otherone is going to think she's not sexy.

So to me it works the same with guys even if I dont feel attracted to them.

Oh, that's a good question.

I think for most men, if another man pays them a compliment, they think that means the guy giving the compliment thinks they are gay.

If a woman gives me a compliment, I accept it. It makes me just as happy. It's nice to be noticed.
 
If a gay finds compliments me and finds me pretty(I'm a girl by the way) I'd be soooo happy.
I'd feel even sexier. that's like the #1 compliment a straight could ever get. to me anyway.

If another girl (straight) compliments me and finds me pretty I'd be happy too.

To me it works the same.
Of course men are the main reason!!!!!!!!!!!
 
I agree that a compliment makes you feel sexy. but if it's someone who's like really butt ass ugly you don't feel shiat but like ewwww don't look at me dammit. lmaoo. i'm kidding.
 
Chuck it was a compliment that was very flattering. He did look, he was attracted to you, and he was the one hoping you'd say "yes" and take him home. 😉
