I went out to lunch with my co-workers yesterday, and when I got into his car, I asked him what the car's name was.

He looked at me like I had two heads, and said "I don't name my cars." the other two people in the car said the same thing.

My family, and some of my friends, and another woman I work with all name their cars. I was a little surprised.

So, am I the only "crazy" cfer who names his car?

I've had cars named "Tatiana", "Cynthia", "Anastasia", "Pandora", "Charisma" and the car I have now is "Tasha".

Ok....fess up.....who else names their cars?????
 
I just called most of mine "You Big Damn Freakin' Piece of Crap" or Maldito Carro.
 
Be nice to my cars? One car caught on fire on me multiple times. Another blew a tire on the highway behind Yankee Stadium at 11pm at night. Another dies on Horace Harding Parkway, expressway(I think in Queens)? Who knows, but it wound up being a $350 tow and not getting home til 3am. I'll be nice to my cars when they stop screwing me.
 
I don't have a name for my cars..but I do refer to them as "her"
 
all the cars i used to drive where named after objects....for example...
toyato tercel.......turcel/turtle
yellow chevy caprice.......yellow submarine
lincoln town car......was the YACHT
and my cars now
Scion XB......is my shoebox on wheels
and my VW Golf......is my 2.slow (2.0)
 
I do. My first car I called Baby, and it literally felt like my baby! LOL Learned to drive on it, and everything. Now the thing really was turning into a piece of crap, but when I would get in it, before I would start it, I would always give it a little pep talk like "come on Baby...be good" or "come on girl..you can make this" LOL While my friends thought I was nuts, I have to admit, it was pretty good to me.It used to sometimes stall on my dad or start smoking and make weird noises, and I told him, "dad, you got to give her a little pep talk." Again he thought I was nuts, but I'm telling you, I swear to this day it never gave me trouble. It was a Chevy Corsica.

The one I have now is a Saturn and I call her Angel. One time I could have been in a really bad accident, but for whatever reason, as hard as I got hit, there was very minimal damage to the car and I was fine, so the name seemed to fit when somebody said to me "you had an angel watching out for you."

One of my brother's girlfriends was talking to me aboput naming her car.

"Angel was too innocent, and baby was to immature, so I named her AngelBaby"

hahahaha funny as hell i call my golf the 2.0 slow too i was getting the letters together to put that on my trunk instead of golf lol

but soon i will be 2.0 whoaa with the next gen mk5s
 
My first car was a e190 mercedez...it's name was ben 🙂
Then my toyota MR2...that was sola cuz she was yello
The Civic was Marshie...long story involving it being green and a martian
And my Jetta is now called Marshetta (combo of Marshie and Jetta...don't ask)
