cumbia is mexican music,dance from mexico
TEJANO-is TEX/MEX,more mexican american style of music that blends country/polka/studio electonics/etc..Most people that buy & listen to tejano are born in the u.s. ,it's a different type of living,and have noticed that alot of mexicans fom mexico,dont consider tejano's mexican,mexicans I have noticed seem to have the biggest prejudces in their own latino community,having a mom of full PUERTO RICAN descent and a father of TEJANO descet ,I come to experience this and are being carful in trusting mexicans,because of all the negativity,I have experiecned from them,which is why did not vote for BUSTAMANTE!Some TEJANO's-SELENA,JENNIFER PENA,LA MAFIA,LITTLE JOE,JOHNNY CANALES,FREDDIE FENDER,etc..
